Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the US, is an actress. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames in 1983 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American writer and actress. In the early 80s, she began her career on film by appearing in the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film in which other actors were equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her breakthrough in her first film, she was later seen in the 1985 comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film, produced by him, was one of the greatest films from high school in history. Even though the budget of the film was just $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. Between then she started appearing in different TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show was designed for teens and aired in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are among the other shows on which she has appeared. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film about a super hero with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her work. She was also awarded an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
