Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical thriller The Resident. She also received acclaim for her television debut breakthrough role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable movie parts. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. Additionally, she's filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
